Our Community Forests Project has many different ways you can give your valuable time and energy to help achieve our exciting goals.

For the Day?

You are very welcome to join the team when we are out in the field working at our stunning project sites. Usually this will be Tuesday – Thursday, 8.30am – 4pm, but please check with us first to confirm.

For a Month or More?

Longer term volunteering with the Trust can be a huge help as you can really get involved and become part of the team. In return you get to stay at a fine courtyard apartment in the heart of historic Jamestown.

Other Opportunities

If you are interested, there could be other volunteer opportunities with different projects within the Trust:

  • Wirebirds – help the team monitor and protect this wonderful endemic bird.
  • Buglife – with hundreds of endemic insects to find, record and conserve, this project is being kept very busy and may need a hand.
  • Historic Buildings – the Trust’s historic buildings team are developing expertise and craftsmanship to restore the island’s magnificent built heritage, and sometimes they need help.
